F'19 COSTUME DESIGN
In my free time, I dance on Break Through Hip Hop, a USC-based hip hop team. I was in charge of branding for the F’19 season, themed, “Summer Lovin’”, and I wanted to convey my team’s playful, funky, and groovy style. I drew inspiration from Keith Haring’s graffiti-like work to illustrate popular hip hop moves, like the “Nae Nae” and the “Hit’em Folks”. This design was a huge hit, and we loved my trendy twist on this fun, pop aesthetic.
